Mat hails from the great State of Missouri and has been leading worship since he was 13 years old. His passion is training and discipling other worship leaders and leading the Church into an authentic, face to face encounter with their Creator. Mat bases his theology of worship on Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
Mat has been married to his best friend, Jessica, since 2003 and they have two children, Cadence and Smith. Mat and his family also have 3 of the best dogs in the world, Milton, Sooie, and Gus. Mat is a diehard Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
