Dr. Stephen Burrell
Steve has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Grace Theological Seminary. He brings a love and passion for teaching the Bible. Steve's philosophy of preaching comes from Nehemiah 8:8, "They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading."
Steve and his wife of 28 years, Michelle, have two daughters, Kaitlyn and Stephanie. Michelle works at a local middle school as a special education math teacher. The Burrells love the outdoors, movies, family time, hanging out, and going out for dinner.
Jonathan grew up in Round Rock, Texas and moved to Nacogdoches where he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in History. He is currently working on a Master of Biblical Studies at Moody Bible Institute. He is passionate about student ministry and seeing the next generation walk in relationship with Jesus and live on mission for the kingdom of God.
His favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
In his free time, Jonathan loves the outdoors (fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, climbing), watching sports, drinking a good cup of coffee, and reading.
Amy has previously served as a local Children’s Director overseeing ministry programming and providing over site to their day schools. Amy is a graduate of Sam Houston State and laughingly says her Criminal Justice degree comes in handy while working with children. She loves early childhood education and watching the seeds of faith be nurtured and planted in the youngest of hearts.
She and her husband Chris have two children: Becca and John. Her family has lived in the Magnolia area for over twenty years. In her free time she and her family enjoy movies, game nights, lots of tacos and watching football.
Her favorite verses change often but she loves Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Joey graduated from Grace Christian Academy in 2021 and is now pursuing his relators license. He enjoys singing, songwriting, and photography.
Joey's favorite verses are Matthew 6:31-34. "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you
need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
